APPA Completes Pasadena Mixed-Use Project in 2022
Aaron Marzwell, a Los Angeles, California real estate developer, has been involved in the construction of several mixed-use and affordable housing projects in the city. As CEO of APPA Real Estate, Aaron Marzwell was involved with Rinrose, the mixed-use real estate project located in East Pasadena.
The Rinrose project is projected to complete sometime in 2022. The firm announced plans for the onset of the project in 2020. The transaction was a joint venture between Sundance Bay and Geolo Capital, and the construction site is in an unincorporated part of Pasadena sitting on East Colorado Boulevard. The project is near Metro’s Sierra Madre Villa Station, which connects to Downtown Los Angeles. It is the first building to be constructed in Los Angeles under its new mixed-use development zone program.
When completed, the five-story building will accommodate 100 rental apartments (including five affordable units), 4,500 square feet of commercial space, two levels of underground parking, and various amenities (coworking space, pool, rooftop decks, a gym). Residents can also access on-site electric vehicle chargers as well as many other amenities.
